These accidents can result in severe personal injuries, like paralysis, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and severe burns. All of which require expensive medical treatment, including therapy and rehabilitation.

Each year, approximately 100 employees in Tennessee are injured in workplace accidents.

Sadly, on November 1, three construction workers in Bedford County were injured when a wall from a worksite collapsed. According to the Associated Press, the accident occurred in the morning, at the new football field house built for Shelbyville Central High School.

The AP reported that Efran Hernandez, Kenny Murphy and Larry Murphy were all transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for injury treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
