Driver Crashes into Madison Home

WTVF-TV reported that the driver involved in a two-vehicle accident in Madison veered off the roadway and crashed into a house on December 13.

According to WTVF, the collision occurred in the afternoon, near the intersection of East Marthona Road and Vantrease Road. Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said that the driver of a vehicle ran a stop sign at an intersection and crashed into a pickup truck.

After the initial crash, the car continued to move, went off the roadway and crashed into a house. WTVF reported that nobody was injured in the crash and that the house sustained minimal damages.

The accident remains under investigation.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in this accident. The driver of the vehicle could have easily hit a pedestrian near the intersection or in front of the home.
