Within six hours, two separate car accidents claimed the lives of four people in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Tanna Pesnell, 17, had just been voted homecoming queen a month before her death. Her best friend Rianna Watson, 17, was driving. Their car drifted across the lane and crashed into a box truck. Watson died at the scene, and Pesnell died later at the hospital. The truck driver reportedly did not sustain injuries.

A photo taken of the girls just days before the accident has spread across their friends’ social media networks with a relevant Bible verse added: “Psalm 116:15 – Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”

THE NEXT MORNING

Early the next morning, a second car accident claimed the lives of two more Tennesseans. Lloyd Bentley was driving on Weakley Creak Road at 12:30am when his car drifted off the road and crashed into a tree. He was carrying two other passengers: James Abbot, 32, and Jennifer Branham, 33. The car overturned and ejected all three passengers. Bentley and Abbott both died; Branham survived.

We extend our sympathies to the friends and loved ones of all four people who died in these tragic accidents. The Bible verse on the girls’ photo is very appropriate for both accidents.
