Whenever you hear about a single-vehicle accident or a car leaving the roadway, you should not assume that it occurred because of driver error.

There are many reasons why single-vehicle accidents occur, including driver error, distracted driving and drunk driving. However, in some cases, there are circumstances like medical emergencies, defective auto parts and tire blowouts that can contribute to a crash.

Unfortunately, on November 16, a woman was killed in Nashville after her SUV left the roadway and went airborne on Interstate 24, landing in a road below the intestate. According to WKRN-TV, Markeya Williams, a 29-year-old from Antioch, died in the crash, which occurred around 4 a.m.

Williams was reportedly driving an SUV when it collided with a guardrail and continued to move. She was wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred, according to reports. Investigators said there were no signs of alcohol or drug involvement.

HOW DO I CONTACT AN ATTORNEY ABOUT A VEHICLE ACCIDENT?

If your loved one has been injured in a vehicle accident, you should contact an attorney and provide him or her with the details, as you may have grounds for a lawsuit.

Again, single-vehicle crashes can occur for a number of reasons, including drunk driving or defective auto parts. This is why you should seek answers.

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” – Psalms 51:11
