According to authorities, a man charged with drunk driving after a motor vehicle accident in Cookeville had his young son in the car with him at the time of the crash. The man, 29-year-old Alberto Diego, was driving on South Jefferson Avenue when he allegedly hit another car from behind, causing it so move forward and strike a third vehicle. Police have not stated if any of the drivers or passengers in the other cars were injured in the accident, but Diego’s son suffered serious injuries. Nashville Car Accident Lawyer Discusses Fatal Trucking Accident

On January 12, a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident in Clarksville, Tennessee killed a truck driver. It appears that malfunctioning equipment caused this tragic accident, but investigators are still trying to understand exactly what went wrong. Responders believe that Carroll Hall, who was 66, was driving a front-end loader truck on Frosty Morn Drive when the loader moved forward unexpectedly on the trailer. The loader continued to slide until it pressed against the truck’s cab, which trapped Hall inside the vehicle. He died at the scene. Rescue crews were unable to remove Hall’s body from the damaged cab, and eventually had to call in a crane from nearby Hopkinsville, Kentucky to do the job. Nashville Car Accident Lawyer Discusses Single-Vehicle Accident That Killed Three

A motor vehicle accident in West Tennessee ended in three deaths on January 20. Police report that only one vehicle was involved in the accident, which took place on Route 76 in Haywood County. None of the three men killed in the accident appear to have been wearing seatbelts, and police believe this may have contributed to their deaths. The three men killed were Eddie L. West, Martavius Robinson and Jarves Gause. West and Robinson were 23 years old and Gause was 24 years old. Police are still investigating the accident, but it appears the car veered off the road, down a steep embankment and crashed into a tree.
