What Caused a Fiery Wilson County Car Crash?

According to the Tennessean, speed is suspected as a contributing factor in a fatal Wilson County car crash on Interstate 40 that killed a Lebanon mother. The fiery accident occurred on December 2. The victim, who was a hairstylist, was allegedly driving a BMW X5 that ran off the side of the roadway into a median, causing it to turn upside down and catch fire. “The early preliminary information indicates that speed was the causative factor,” THP representative Lt. Bill Miller said, according to the Tennessean. “The THP report isn’t yet complete. An estimated speed wasn’t given.” The victim’s two children, ages seven and five, were also in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
