Three different Nashville auto accidents killed two people and injured several others this past week, according to a report by WSMV News.

On July 21st, Antioch resident Tammy Santomango lost her life when her vehicle suddenly swerved across the grass median of I-440 and collided with a pickup. This sudden collision caused drivers to swerve in an attempt to avoid the wreck, resulting in a GMC Yukon rolling over.

A crash also occurred that afternoon when a Chevrolet Camaro lost control and crashed into a semi-truck, pinning the vehicle underneath the truck’s wheels. Multiple people were subsequently hospitalized.

A hit-and-run accident occurred on I-24 on the morning of Saturday, July 20th, leaving one person dead and three others seriously injured. A man was driving the wrong direction on the interstate highway and crashed head-on into another vehicle. He fled the scene and remains at large. It is unknown if the man was driving while intoxicated. However, in any case, he faces both civil and criminal charges for leaving the scene of an accident, as well as causing bodily harm due to negligence.
