13 People Injured in Head-on Collision

Thirteen people were injured in a three-car accident in Franklin, Tennessee on May 26. Officials say a minivan carrying seven 16-year-old girls, a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old as well as an adult passenger on Highway 96 clipped a vehicle, swerved and crashed head-on into another car. Two adults from the minivan and two adults from the car it hit head-on were all taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they were listed as being in critical condition. The condition of the teens and children were unknown. None of the passengers in the minivan or car were wearing seatbelts.
