According to WTVF-TV, a Montgomery County man was injured in a Clarksville motorcycle accident on October 25.

The Clarksville Police Department said the crash happened shortly before 7 p.m., in front of the Burger King on Madison Street. Police said that the crash seriously injured 29-year-old Dane Vinson.

The driver of another vehicle reportedly pulled out in front of Vinson from the Burger King parking lot and hit him. Investigators told WTVF that Vinson sustained serious head trauma and a broken leg. Vanderbilt LifeFlight transported Vinson to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As of last week, Vinson remained in stable condition at the hospital.

TENNESSEE MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS

Because motorcycles offer less protection than other vehicles on the road, accidents can cause catastrophic personal injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, amputation and broken bones.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, between 2004 and 2008, motorcycle crashes in the state rose by an annual average of 9.2 percent. If you have suffered injuries or have lost a family member in a motorcycle accident, we offer compassionate and experienced legal assistance. Contact our Nashville motorcycle accident lawyer today at (615) 866-3938.
