Sadly, on August 16, a student at Montgomery Central High School in Cunningham was involved in a vehicle accident, which later proved to be deadly. According to WKRN-TV, Kyle Rodger, 14, died a few days after a crash that also killed 29-year-old Wesley Harris.

The station reported that Harris was traveling east on Highway 13 when he lost control and ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle reportedly went into a ditch, hit a tree, rolled over and came to rest on the driver’s side, according to WKRN.

Rodger was a sophomore at Montgomery Central High School at the time of his death. Both people were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
