Tragically, it is estimated that close to 1,000 people die in vehicle accidents each year in Tennessee.

When your loved one is involved in a fatal car accident, we can investigate your case and determine if your family is entitled to damages through a wrongful death lawsuit, which can help pay for medical bills and burial costs.

Sadly, on August 16, a student at Montgomery Central High School in Cunningham was involved in a vehicle accident, which later proved to be deadly. According to WKRN-TV, Kyle Rodger, 14, died a few days after a crash that also killed 29-year-old Wesley Harris.

The station reported that Harris was traveling east on Highway 13 when he lost control and ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle reportedly went into a ditch, hit a tree, rolled over and came to rest on the driver’s side, according to WKRN.

Rodger was a sophomore at Montgomery Central High School at the time of his death. Both people were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Through a wrongful death lawsuit, family members of those killed in car accidents can pursue damages. This can help pay for costs associated with a loved one’s death, which can include lost income.

It is tragic whenever someone dies in a collision. Unfortunately, there are often costs associated with death that can be astronomical. When this occurs, call our Nashville injury attorney—he will help you obtain compensation.
