Workplace injuries can be difficult to manage for victims, because while bills for rehabilitation and therapy need to be paid immediately, victims often need time to figure out the workers’ compensation and benefits process, which is complex.
If you are ever involved in a job-place accident and are left with personal injuries, contact our Nashville injury lawyer, who can investigate your case and make sure you receive the benefits you are entitled to.
Sadly, most workplace accidents are the result of violence, fires and explosions, transportation mishaps and slip and falls—most of these issues are avoidable, as there are safety protocols in work environments that often go un-followed.
Unfortunately, acts of violence led to the injury of two Woodland Hills Youth Development Center guards in Nashville on September 1. According to WSMV-TV, the employees were injured when a fight between teen residents erupted at the facility.
The network reported that 33 teens managed to escape the facility during a riot that saw one worker sustain a head injury, and another sustain neck and back injuries.
