According to WTVF-TV, two people were seriously injured on March 7 in a Joelton car accident in Davidson County.

Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department said that three vehicles were involved in a head-on crash on Whites Creek Pike, near Coopertown Road.

Details about the injuries sustained by victims in the crash were unknown as of last week. Police told WTVF that two victims had to be transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.

No other details about the crash were made available to WTVF. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
