Badillo reportedly worked at Martinez Fence Company. The pipes he was working with were reportedly 21-feet in length. According to WTVF, emergency medical officials were called in to transport Badillo to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but he was declared dead on arrival.

The death remains under investigation, but officials have said that it appears to be an accident.
